photography, is one hobby i am passionate about. it started back in high school, when my teacher encouraged me to learn photojournalism, i never thought that i would learn to enjoy and love the craft. thank you, sir tino!
When I felt like we’re almost losing during the volleyball game championship (4th set), I told myself hopelessly, “papirde nalang ta ah, kapoy na gd ko, sakit na tiil ko.” (let’s give up the game, i’m tired, my feet are killing me)
In spite of this, Aljun (allen john lira) kept telling us “mind over matter lang na, madaug ta!” (it’s only mind over matter, we’ll win!) But then, I didn’t grasp what he’s been telling us, all I knew was that I am tired; all I wanted was to rest.
Despite the hopelessness, there was Aljun, who was very positive and kept reminding us, “mind over matter lang na, kun paminsarun niyo madaug ta, madaug ta.” (it’s only mind over matter, if you’ll think we’ll win, we’ll win!)
After all, Aljun was right. When you’ll think you’ll win despite all the odds, added with a very good disposition, you’ll really win.
I remembered my last few months of my 3rd year in the college. I almost quit, i got tired of the stress, the pressure. But then, i thought of what might happen if ever i’d quit, “kun maquit ko subong, maanu nalang ko sa sunod?”
See? It’s only mind over matter.. haha.. if i’ve given up, i wouldn’t have wrote this to tell you what had happened during the best (and worst) Nursing Fundays I’ve ever experienced.
In the end, those who feigned to be the GOOD ones, after conniving with other brainwashed forces of the universe, revealed their true color. They were the REAL DESPERADO EVILS, whose only purpose was to destroy those who stood in their way to victory.
And those who were thought to be the EVILS, after being silent all those times, fought for what is RIGHT. And the noble acts they’ve showed despite the EVIL image they’ve been branded of, bared their true selves.
RED turned out to be the REAL GOOD. And with that, they became CHAMPIONS!
That is how the BATTLEFIELD EARTH concluded.
Is 50% definite of stepping down from my post.
It will entail a lot of courage. It is of great sacrifice. But there’s one thing I am sure of, it will lead me to an escape I’ve been yearning for.
Quitting, this time will not mean cowardice, but it is bravery to admit that I’ve never been effective and never will be.
I grew tired of assuming countless responsibilities alone.
I’m breaking away. Freedom will soon be mine.
just woke up and found out that i have 4 missed calls from abroad (who could possibly call me @ 4am?), strangely, anyone i know who’s abroad doesn’t know my smart number..so who could it possibly be? my dad? to tell me he’s going home? but he too doesn’t know my other phone number. so, who was that?
It’s really funny to note that when we have a copious amount of time to spend working on something, we tend to set them aside, “i’ll work on you later! I still have a lot of time.”
But when that ample time elapsed, we freak out!, “darn, if only i worked on it when i had time, i wouldn’t have spent the whole night awake!”
see how stupid someone could become? I wonder who that person is?!
WOW. you’ve just disappointed me. That was a very very very very stupid question.
chris? din ka gatan.aw forum na?

Since I have nothing to do in the next few days, let’s try to fathom on photography’s similitude to life…
Indeed, there are certain attitudes toward/principles in photography that are very handy not just for a shutterbug, but also for people who journey through their everyday lives.
In the succeeding days let us try to know what are these attitudes/principles I am referring to. hehehe.
Life is like photography.
Life is like a camera.
